Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and carpet cleaning
- Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic environments
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively across various surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens by cooking assistance when required and ensuring all appliances are sanitized
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances with proper techniques
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored housekeeping services
- Conduct outdoor work when necessary, including patio or yard cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Keep track of supplies and notify management when inventory needs replenishing
- Adhere to health and safety standards while performing janitorial and custodial duties in residential settings
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, equipment operation, and proper manual handling techniques required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Experience managing housekeeping schedules or working in hospitality environments is a plus
- Ability to perform outdoor work tasks confidently and safely when needed
- Demonstrated time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
