Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Seeking a MA that can work on there own. We work heavily doing lab work and testing, and need to be quick with seeing patients, documentation in a timely matter, able to order labs and draw blood for labs to go out. Hours are 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, Lunch is 1-130pm.

Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) as needed during patient care.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.
- Conduct X-ray procedures when required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including coding for billing purposes.
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on emergency medicine protocols and anatomy knowledge to provide effective assistance.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Certification as a Phlebotomist is required.
- Experience in emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of anatomy is essential for effective patient assessment.
- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks, including coding and record management.
- Proficiency in performing vital signs assessments and basic life support techniques.
- Experience working in an inpatient setting is preferred.
- Previous exposure to operating rooms (OR) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
