We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Glass & Installation Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for completing residential and commercial glass, window, and door installation projects while delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.
This is a high-volume, steady role where efficiency, attention to detail, quality workmanship, and clear communication are essential to success.
Key Responsibilities
As a Lead Technician, you will typically complete 1–6 work orders per day and are expected to manage your schedule effectively while maintaining a high standard of quality and professionalism.
Typical scopes of work include, but are not limited to:
- Window installation and replacement
- Entry door installation and replacement
- Sliding glass door installation and replacement
- Patio door repairs and replacements
- Glass replacement and repair
- Storefront glass installation and repairs
- Window and door adjustments
- Hardware replacement and repairs
- Caulking and weatherproofing
- Screen repairs and replacements
- General carpentry related to window and door installations
- Trim and finish work
- Other glass and exterior maintenance services as needed.
Experience:
Must have at least 3 years of general handyman/multi-trade experience.
Skills:
- Proven ability to confidently complete most (or all) of the trades listed above with high quality.
- Smartphone and have a basic working knowledge of apps. All schedules and systems (including the Connect Team time-tracking app) are dispatched digitally.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report for the last three years (verified through Checker). drug screen is required.
This role is physically demanding and requires consistent ability to perform the following tasks safely:
- Digital Ready: Must own a smart phone
- Driving: Valid driver’s license and Clean Motor Vehicle Report.
- Pre-Employment: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.
- Lifting: Ability to lift, push, and pull materials, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Mobility: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and crawl for extended periods.
- Heights: Comfortable working from heights, including climbing and working on ladders and roofs as required for repairs and cleaning.
Environment: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
