Position Summary
Valleyview Injury + Physical Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our growing clinical team. The Radiologic Technologist will perform specialized lumbar and cervical fluoroscopic imaging studies using a GE 9800 C-arm or comparable fluoroscopy system and a patient positioning and motion-analysis platform designed to assist providers in evaluating spinal motion and function.
This position works closely with physicians and rehabilitation professionals to support patient evaluation, treatment planning, and recovery. Training on the motion-analysis system, imaging protocols, and workflow will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate a GE 9800 C-arm or comparable fluoroscopy system to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
- Position and guide patients through lumbar and cervical imaging procedures.
- Assist patients with controlled spinal bending and motion studies during image acquisition.
- Acquire both still and motion imaging sequences according to established protocols.
- Review images for quality, completeness, and study acceptability prior to submission.
- Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation.
- Follow radiation safety and ALARA principles.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care.
- Maintain imaging equipment and work areas according to clinic standards.
- Provide a professional, compassionate, and positive patient experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current Radiologic Technologist license through the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience operating a C-arm fluoroscopy system or comparable fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and fluoroscopic imaging procedures.
- Strong patient positioning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GE 9800 fluoroscopy equipment or similar C-arm systems.
- Experience in pain management, spine care, orthopedics, physical medicine, rehabilitation, or interventional procedures.
- Familiarity with EMR systems.
- Experience working in an outpatient clinical environment.

Training Provided
Comprehensive training will be provided on the patient positioning and motion-analysis system, imaging protocols, image quality requirements, and study acquisition workflow. Prior experience with spinal motion-analysis systems is not required.
