Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Systems Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing interior building systems to ensure high-quality results that meet project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing interior environments across various construction projects. Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute interior system installations.
- Install drywall, metal stud framing, and plastering components with precision, ensuring alignment with safety standards and project specifications.
- Perform drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and repair work to achieve smooth finishes suitable for painting or finishing.
- Install interior fixtures such as doors, trim carpentry elements, cabinetry, and other hardware following detailed instructions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for framing, drywall installation, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related tasks.
- Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for all team members.
- Assist with restoration industry tasks such as water damage remediation, mold remediation, and general renovation projects as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Proficiency in drywall installation techniques including taping, mudding, texturing, and repair work.
- Experience with metal stud framing, plastering, masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, and stucco application.
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, drills), power tools (e.g., airless paint sprayers), and specialized equipment safely.
- Familiarity with construction plumbing systems including fixture installation and water damage restoration procedures.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics for various interior systems installations.
- Knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards and safety protocol adherence.
- Experience in remodeling projects or handyman work is a plus; strong carpentry skills including door hanging and trim carpentry are highly valued.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions clearly and efficiently.

Pay: $31.87 - $65.97 per hour
