Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for pulling orders, transporting goods to various locations, as well as helping on our counter. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service , route driving, and warehouse operations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to excellent service and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Pulling orders.
- Checking in inbound material.
- Restocking.
- Operate a flat bed truck or other delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload products using a pallet jack and other equipment as necessary.
- Follow designated routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during deliveries.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
- Experience with moving and handling goods in a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to navigate using GPS systems and maps for efficient route planning.
Requirements
- Plumbing knowledge!
- Bilingual is PREFERRED!
- Computer skills are a plus!
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must have a reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds min.
- Must be able to operate a fork lift.
