Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and manage guest check-in procedures efficiently
- Use restaurant reservation management systems to schedule and confirm reservations, ensuring optimal table utilization
- Manage restaurant table assignments, coordinating with the service team to minimize wait times and maximize guest satisfaction
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing accurate information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant policies while maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Maintain organized seating charts and waitlists using restaurant table management systems such as Toast POS
- Assist in managing guest relations by addressing inquiries, special requests, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Support food safety standards by communicating guest needs clearly to the kitchen and service staff
Experience
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a busy restaurant environment is preferred
- Demonstrated food service experience that highlights excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with restaurant reservation management tools and POS systems such as Toast POS
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal interaction over the phone and in person
- Basic math skills for managing reservations, seating calculations, and billing procedures
- Proven organizational skills to handle multiple tables and guest requests efficiently
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices, including guest relations, phone etiquette, and food safety standards

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
