Tattoo Factory of Charlotte is the newest addition to a proven, high-performing studio group with established locations in Statesville NC, Gastonia NC, Hickory NC, Largo FL, and now Charlotte, NC. We’re building a strong opening team and looking for talented Tattoo Artists who bring great energy, clean work, and a client-first mindset. We offer multiple scheduling options to fit your life: day shift, night shift, or part-time (2–3 12-hour shifts). Compensation is daily pay on a 50/50 split.
What You’ll Do:
- Consult with clients to understand their ideas and translate them into strong, tattoo-ready designs
- Provide clear, professional guidance on placement, sizing, color, and long-term wear
- Perform high-quality tattoo work with consistency, precision, and attention to detail
- Follow strict sterilization, sanitation, and cross-contamination prevention practices at all times
- Keep your station clean, organized, and fully stocked (single-use items, barriers, inks, etc.)
- Educate every client on proper aftercare and answer questions confidently
- Support smooth shop operations by helping with basic workflow needs (client flow, light scheduling support, supply awareness)
- Deliver a welcoming experience—calm, respectful, and professional from start to finish
What We’re Looking For:
- Pro tattooing experience with a strong portfolio that shows clean lines, solid shading, and strong composition
- Working knowledge of health/safety standards, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention
- Professional, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, walk-in friendly environment
- Strong communication skills—great at consultations and setting expectations
- Respect for the craft, the client, and the studio (punctual, prepared, and team-minded)
- First aid/CPR knowledge or certification is a plus
- Experience with studio operations, retail, or customer service is a plus
