As a Customer Service Associate you will help to ensure that each of our customers has the best possible experience while providing insightful answers to inquiries. As a Customer Service Associate you will also provide product explanations, help customers choose products and troubleshoot any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication ability, retail experience, and a passion for helping customers find what they need while ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Customer Service Associate Daily Tasks:
- Follow up on customer orders to ensure accuracy
- Operate POS systems efficiently for checkout and returns
- Handle inbound and outbound customer support calls
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards, including stocking shelves and organizing displays
- Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and merchandising
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Supervise and mentor new team members as needed during shifts
- Support the store’s overall customer service goals by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
Customer Service Associate Preferred Skills:
- Prior customer service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with CRM systems ongoing customer support
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
- Experience with product demos, upselling, and merchandising techniques
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling accuracy
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Supervising experience is desirable but not mandatory; leadership qualities are a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
