QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years’ experience as a Concrete Finisher — commercial or industrial flatwork.
- Proficient in formwork setup, screeding, troweling, and finishing
- Set up, operate, and maintain power trowels, internal vibrators, screeds, bull floats, edging, and jointing tools including handheld and power tools
- Knowledge of curing methods, concrete repair/patching, and surface remediation
- Blueprint reading and basic layout skills — read plans and elevations and calculate concrete quantities
- Safety focused and able to pass pre-employment screenings
- Must be willing to do some traveling (company paid) -- partial weeks, day trips, or M-F weekdays
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physically able to move safely across active construction sites and lift/carry materials and equipment as required
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Perform concrete placement and finishing for commercial and industrial projects
- Ensure finishes meet project specifications and quality standards
- Layout and install control and expansion joints; sawcut as required
- Perform layout tasks — set control lines, check grades, and verify material quantities for pours, etc.
- Apply curing compounds, sealers, and hardening treatments
- Assist with general labor tasks and equipment upkeep as required by the crew
- Follow OSHA and site safety rules; use PPE, participate in safety meetings, and report hazards
