Support the full-time staff of the Office of Spiritual Development by completing professional administrative tasks to enhance and fulfill the department outcomes.
- Support department staff with general business administration and customer support for the office’s goals and objectives .
- Competently utilize Microsoft Office and other professional software tools.
- Support department with requested data entry, data collection, organization, reports, and presentations.
- Professionally apply critical-thinking and problem-solving to assigned work.
- Professionally serve external and internal customers, such as greeting visitors in the office and responding to inquiries via phone and email.
- Support department projects and events by preparing materials, conducting basic research, and helping with logistics.
- Be available to assist the Promotions and Communications team , as needed outside of normal office hours , with on-campus events ( Study Abroad Fair, Global Focus Week, Workshops, Trainings, and other promotional tabling .) including but not limited to set up, event participation, tear down, and the reorganization of materials upon completion of event (s).
- Be available outside of normal office hours to provide hospitality and assistance to guests as needed .
- Work effectively as a team member of LU Send , embracing and fostering the mission and events of OSD and Liberty University.

The working environment in which one will typically perform the essential functions of this position is a climate-controlled office setting. It is well lighted, and the noise level is moderate.
If the employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee’s position.
