We are seeking a highly motivated individual that wants a Monday through Friday work week that generates a great income in a friendly and upbeat atmosphere. Professionalism, motivation, and a great attitude is a must. Diesel experience and knowledge is a plus. The right candidate must be self-motivated, willing to work as a team, be accurate in his or her repair and diagnoses.
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, brake repairs, diagnostic troubleshooting, engine/transmission replacements, and any other assigned task related to automotive repair.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, drivability, fuel system problems and suspension failures
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot mechanical, drivability, and electrical problems
- Provide excellent communication by explaining repairs and recommendations to advisors and management.
- Perform equipment repairs and maintenance as necessary
Experience:
- Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician with at least 5 years experience is required
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems, as well as drivability and diagnostic troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with GM and Ford diagnostics and programing software is a plus, but I will train the right individual
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair
