Job Overview
We are seeking a detail oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist with Texas construction experience. You will manage billing, lien waivers, and collections to ensure steady company cashflow. Opportunity to grow within the accounting department for the individual with strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Progress Billing: Prepare AIA G702/G703 forms and schedule of values.
- Lien Management: Issue Texas-compliant conditional and unconditional lien waivers correctly.
- Payment Applications: Submit accurate monthly pay apps to general contractors.
- Collections: Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue client balances.
- Cash Application: Post daily checks and ACH payments.
- Dispute Resolution: Resolve billing discrepancies with project managers and general contractors.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in construction accounts receivable roles.
- Texas Lien Law: Strong working knowledge of Texas property code lien waivers.
- Software: Proficiency with Deltek Computer Ease, Oracle Textura, Spectrrum Viewpoint, and Procore a plus.
- Documents: Expert knowledge of AIA billing formulas and retainage tracking.
- Math Skills: Excellent data entry accuracy and strong analytical skills.
- Communication: Professional phone and email etiquette for firm collections.
