About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced vascular surgery office. This is a great opportunity to work closely with providers, gain specialty experience, and be part of a team focused on high-quality patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Room patients and take vital signs, medical history, and medications
- Assist providers with exams and in-office procedures
- Prepare and stock exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Perform wound care and dressing changes as needed
- Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-up care
- Document accurately in EMR
- Educate patients and provide instructions
What We’re Looking For
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Medical Assistant experience preferred (specialty or surgical office a plus)
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and team-player mindset
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Bonus Points (Not Required)
- Experience in vascular, surgical, or specialty practice
- Familiarity with ECW EMR system
