Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coating Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing parts for powder coating using a power washer for large steel products and operating a 3 stage automatic washing application for small products. Your expertise will help us deliver superior finished products efficiently and consistently. This position offers an energetic work environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are essential to success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces by power washing, hand cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal coating adhesion.
- Use of Forklift to move parts out of prep area and into the powder coating area.
- Manage materials handling tasks using forklifts and cranes to move raw materials and finished products safely within the facility.
- Remove cured parts from the oven, and palletize freshly painted parts with care.
- Use Steelhead iPad for tracking parts in and out of your zone.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
