Looking to fill our Production General Laborer position. This position performs a variety of physical tasks to include operating heavy equipment and machinery and using power tools and/or hand tools for manufacturing asphalt and concrete materials.
- Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager
- Must work quickly, productively and safely to meet production goals
- Coordinate with direct supervisor and other staff about daily production schedule and activities
- Operate heavy equipment such as trucks and front-end loaders according as needed
- Follow all Safety guidelines
- Must be a strong communicator
- Inspect, clean and maintain equipment and machinery
- Responsible for reporting problems and malfunction equipment and/or machinery to direct supervisor
- May set up and tear down equipment
- Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site each day
- Understand material handling and storage
- Interact with customers by supplying needed materials and assisting with loading
- Serve as front-line Company representative and must provide excellent service to the customer and to the public
- Use equipment and/or an assortment of hand tools
- Perform all other general work as needed in production plant
Position Information
- This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
Minimum Qualifications
- A High School Diploma Or GED Is Preferred
- Must Be Fluent In English, i.e., Must Be Able to Speak, Read And Write English
- Forklift Experience Required
- Previous Asphalt Experience Preferred

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
