Asian Fast food restaurant looking for full time/part time kitchen helper
Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients and assembling dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Support cooking and food handling processes to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Help with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and resetting dining areas to promote a smooth flow of service
- Follow proper food storage procedures, including labeling and rotating stock to prevent waste
- Collaborate with team members to meet quality standards and deliver excellent customer service
- Contribute to maintaining a safe kitchen environment by adhering to health and safety protocols
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments demonstrating familiarity with kitchen operations
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and proper food handling practices
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience, including banquet or hotel settings, is highly desirable
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in cooking, serving, bussing, and supporting food safety procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining cleanliness and efficiency
