A rapidly expanding manufacturing firm located in Gurnee is seeking a skilled Welder to become a key member of their production staff.
Core Duties-
Construct and join stainless steel and carbon steel pressure vessels, tanks, and specialized process equipment by utilizing various techniques such as GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), FCAW, and SAW.

Interpret technical blueprints to layout, fit, and assemble complex weldments, helping to ensure every finished product aligns with precise quality standards and client requirements.

Operate rotating fixtures and turntables to weld large cylindrical tanks, maintaining high accuracy while interpreting degree measurements for circular components.
Qualifications-
Between two and five years of background in fabrication and welding, with a mandatory high level of skill in MIG welding.

Demonstrated ability to accurately interpret and work from engineering blueprints.

Capable of operating a wide array of power tools, hand tools, and precision measurement instruments, including protractors, tape measures, drills, saws, and grinders.

Support the team by safely handling and lifting structural steel components weighing up to 50 lbs.
