Responsibilities
- Design and assemble beautiful floral arrangements tailored to customer preferences and occasions
- Assist customers with selecting flowers, plants, and related accessories, providing advice on floral care and design options
- Maintain fresh floral displays by handling stock replenishment, watering, pruning, and overall plant care
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math accuracy
- Stock shelves with fresh flowers, plants, and merchandise while ensuring proper merchandising standards are upheld
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Support inventory management through stock organization, labeling, and tracking of floral products
Requirements
- Proven experience and strong interest in floral design
- Minimum of 3 years floral design shop experince
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Basic knowledge of retail sales processes including POS operation, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
- Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain attractive displays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 45 pounds
- Familiarity with floral merchandising standards and retail math concepts for accurate pricing and inventory control
- Familiarity in floral ordering and arrangement logistics. Must know how to source, order and coordinate flowers for events
