Downtown Nashville law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. A minimum of 3 years’ paralegal experience is required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation, formatting, and finalizing pleadings, to include ensuring all filings comply with court rules and procedural requirements
- E-filing in both state and federal courts
- Assist with pulling and preparing exhibits for use in depositions
- Assist with preparing hearing binders and trial binders
- Provide day-to-day legal assistance as needed and as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a litigation paralegal
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal and state rules and procedures
- Extensive knowledge and ability to navigate Federal and state dockets
- Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively and professionally with firm staff and third parties
- Excellent proofreading and typing skills required
- Advanced Word document skills, including preparing Tables and insertion of line number
- Adobe - must have understanding of redacting and bates stamping documents
- Must have an understanding of modern litigation technology tools and processes and be able to quickly learn and efficiently utilize web-based applications
- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
- Solid analytical, critical thinking and time management skills
- The ability and willingness to work in a challenging, rewarding, and fast-paced teamwork environment
- The ability to work overtime as needed and sometimes with minimal advanced notice
