Erie Forge and Steel, Inc. an industry leading manufacturer of large steel components for military applications (US Navy and Coast Guard) with an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualified candidates for this position will have a 2-year degree or Equivalent Education with Job Experience.
The ideal candidate possesses most of the following requirements to successfully fill the position:
· Minimum 3 to 5 years’ Experience in Quality Management
· Experience Implementing Quality Management Techniques (i.e., Problem Solving, Continuous Improvements, Corrective Actions)
· Experience with ISO 9000 - 2015
· Experience in Machine Shop Environment
· Experience Reading and Understanding of Military Specification
· Experience with Management of Supplier Quality
· Experience with ERP systems is a plus
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
· Strong Verbal, Written, Organizational and Time Management Skills
Additional Work Experience desired:
· Experience with Government/Military Contracts
· Ability To Work with Suppliers to Implement Continuous Improvement Activities

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
