Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment or systems while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a combination of technical know-how, problem-solving ability, and a strong customer focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment and systems according to company standards and client requirements
- Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Keep detailed records of service calls, work performed, and parts used
- Communicate clearly with customers and provide updates on service status
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (technical school training or certification preferred)
- Proven experience as a service technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification(s) in [industry-specific credentials, e.g., HVAC, ASE, CompTIA]
- Experience working with [specific tools, systems, or brands]
