Join our dynamic hospitality team as an On Site Night Auditor at our welcoming hotel in Waterloo. This vital role ensures the smooth overnight operation of the front desk, providing exceptional guest services while maintaining accurate financial records. As a Night Auditor, you will be the first point of contact for late-night arrivals and early morning departures, delivering a seamless experience that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence. Responsibilities
- Greet guests arriving during night hours with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently using property management systems such as OPERA or similar hotel reservation platforms.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, handle guest inquiries, and provide accurate information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, including verifying billing accuracy and balancing daily revenue reports.
- Monitor hotel safety protocols and emergency procedures, responding swiftly to any incidents or guest concerns.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication with daytime staff.
- Assist with guest requests, resolve service issues promptly, and foster guest satisfaction through excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel environment.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), particularly OPERA or equivalent platforms.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance client communication.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and hospitality reservation systems.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, especially in handling multi-line phone systems and client interactions.
