We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic medical team at Yorktown Health OBGYN & Primary Care!
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures related to Obstetrics Gynecology and Primary Care.
- Maintain patient records and update medical histories.
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed by physicians.
- Draw patient bloods.
- Provide outstanding patient care and ensure a comfortable, welcoming environment.
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Assist in medical equipment maintenance and sterilization.
- Assist in scheduling patients
- Assist in answering phone calls, sending faxes, and orders
- Assist in checking patients in and out for appointments
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in Primary Care or OBGYN setting is a plus.
