Role Summary
The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer serves as the discipline lead on multi‑disciplinary projects, responsible for all I&C deliverables, estimating engineering effort, maintaining schedules, and communicating effectively with clients and project team. The role includes full‑scope I&C design from specifying instrumentation, control systems, and safety controls to producing detailed drawings, lists, narratives, and construction packages while also supporting field data collection, commissioning, and startup.
Responsibilities:
Discipline Lead on multi-discipline projects responsible for I&C deliverables, estimating engineering effort, meeting project schedule, and communication with clients and project team.
Specify various types of instrumentation for flow, pressure, level, temperature, and analytical measurement.
Work with design staff to develop Plan Drawings to identify locations of control valves, instrumentation, control panels, junction boxes and cable trays.
