Overview:
The Human Resources Business Partner assists as a strategic partner while overseeing the daily operation of
Human Resources. The role helps strategize towards organizational goals by providing leadership in talent
management, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, safety, payroll support, and workforce
planning.
Responsibilities:
- Recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, and programs that can enhance business
- performance.
- Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to identify opportunities for improving employee engagement,
- retention, productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
- Lead and resolve complex employee relation issues while ensuring consistent application of any
- applicable laws and company policies.
- Coach managers on employee performance, disciplinary action, conflict resolution, and documentation.
- Coordinate employee training, leadership development, and compliance training.
- Perform periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local
- employment laws.
- Orientation processes.
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, maintain case documentation, and coordinate return-to-work
- processes.
- Coordinate OSHA compliance activities and required safety training.
- Partner with department leaders to align workforce strategies with business objectives.
- Provide guidance on organizational design, succession planning, and talent development.
- Partner with leadership on change management initiatives and organizational growth.
- Identify talent gaps and develop strategies to improve workforce capability.
- Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and
- development planning.
- Partner with leadership to improve employee engagement and organizational culture.
- Participate in annual budgeting and workforce planning for labor costs.
- Develop action plans based on employee engagement survey results.
- Drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.
- Analyze HR metrics including turnover, absenteeism, overtime, retention, engagement, and staffing levels
- to identify trends and recommend business solutions.
- Lead the annual performance review process.
- Coach leaders on performance management and employee development.
- Partner with leaders to identify high-potential employees and succession plans.
- Develop recruiting strategies to attract high-quality talent.
- Partner with hiring managers on workforce planning and succession planning.
- Improve time-to-fill and quality-of-hire metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related field.
- 4+ years of related experience.
- Strong Knowledge of employee relations, payroll administration, employment law, compensation &
- benefits, recruitment & talent acquisition.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems, payroll systems, and workforce analytics.
- SHRM Certified Professional.

Physical Demands
- While performing duties of job, required to continuously stand and walk; use hands to handle or feel merchandise,

Work Environment
- This position occasionally may require work in a production environment. The production environment has a loud
- noise level and requires PPE (hearing protection), ambient temperatures are warmer in the summer and colder in
- the winter, and may be exposure to vapors, chemicals, dust, and odors. Other PPE may be required related to
- specific tasks.

Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
