Requirements
- Associate's degree from an accredited Polysomnography program.
- Active RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification.
- Active New York State Registered Polysomnographic Technician or Respiratory Therapist license.
- Current BLS certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).
- Previous experience in sleep medicine is preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform overnight polysomnographic diagnostic studies according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients, explain testing procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the study.
- Set up and monitor sleep studies, including titration and split-night studies.
- Accurately score sleep studies following AASM guidelines and complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Monitor patients for physiological changes and respond appropriately during testing.
- Communicate significant patient findings with physicians and clinical leadership.
- Maintain equipment, uphold patient confidentiality, and assist in training new staff as needed.
Pay: $2,100.00 - $2,300.00 per week

- Sleep medicine: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Required)
- RPSGT or Respiratory Therapist (Required)
- BLS (Required)
