Job Title: Dental Hygienist (Full-Time and Part-Time)
Location: Northeast Connecticut Dental Associates, Putnam, CT
Position Overview:
The dental hygienist will provide preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and support the doctors in delivering treatment. This role is ideal for someone who is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, take and review radiographs, etc. Each appointment is scheduled for a full hour.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Support the dentists during exams and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygienist license in Connecticut.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Proficiency with Dentrix, training can be provided.
