Duties
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across all assigned areas of the facility.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces including counters, railings, door handles, fitness equipment, and seating areas.
- Service and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms, ensuring supplies are fully stocked at all times.
- Clean and prepare lodging rooms and common lodging areas according to facility standards.
- Maintain gym floors, and athletic spaces in safe, clean condition before, during, and after events.
- Clean meeting rooms, event rooms, and offices, including furniture, floors, and equipment surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors in all public and operational spaces.
- Clean elevators, glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows.
- Remove trash and recycling from all areas and transport to designated disposal locations.
- Monitor facility areas for hazards and report maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately.
- Restock supplies such as paper goods, soap, linens, and cleaning materials.
- Assist with room setups and breakdowns for events as required.
- Maintain cleaning equipment in proper working condition.
- Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Full availability to work rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, aligned with facility occupancy, sports events, and operational demands.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Familiarity with janitorial equipment and supplies management.
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning teams is a plus.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
