Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, including estate planning, litigation and real estate law. Your expertise will help streamline case management, conduct thorough legal research, draft essential documents, and ensure the accuracy and organization of legal files. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review legal documents including contracts, pleadings, discovery materials, and correspondence with meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage case files using CLIO case management software to ensure all records are current, organized, and easily accessible.
- Conduct document review and data entry to support litigation, estate planning, real estate disputes, , and other legal matters.
- Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling interviews or client meetings, and tracking case progress efficiently.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing documents electronically or physically, proofreading legal drafts for accuracy, transcribing dictations, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Provide executive administrative support by managing calendars, handling phone inquiries with professional etiquette, and assisting with general clerical tasks to keep the legal team operating smoothly.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience with familiarity in multiple practice areas including estate planning, real estate, and litigation.
- Experience with legal case management software; proficiency in document review and management systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence; keen proofreading abilities to ensure error-free work.
- Effective interviewing skills for gathering information from clients or witnesses when needed.
- Knowledge of estate planning, real estate law, or litigation is a plus.
- Strong administrative capabilities including data entry experience; familiarity with clerical procedures such as filing and phone etiquette is essential. Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
