The Washington Waldorf School is seeking a half-time woodworking teacher, beginning immediately. Key job duties include the following:
- Teach woodworking and allied skills Grades 4-8.
- Manage well-equipped school woodworking shop, including maintaining tools, supplies, and machinery, ordering materials, and keeping shop space clean and in good order.
- Assess student work and write semester and year-end reports.
- Meet with parents as needed.
Requirements for the position include:
- Demonstrated expertise in woodworking and allied crafts
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- Ability to pass Maryland criminal background check.
