Medical Technologist – Port Charlotte, FL
Full-Time | Nights & Evenings | Rotating Weekends
Compensation: $27.09 – $37.92/hr
Requirements
- Nationally recognized Medical Technologist certification; ASCP preferred.
- Florida State Licensure as a Medical Technologist required.
- Competency in at least 3 laboratory areas required; Blood Bank, Chemistry, and Hematology experience preferred.
- Associate Degree in Medical Technology with formal medical technology training required.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of Medical Technologist experience in a hospital laboratory preferred.
- Blood Bank experience preferred.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures, regulatory requirements, specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
