Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across various facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment. Prior experience in cleaning, floor care, or hospitality is highly valued. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of rooms, and facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Care for floors through sweeping, polishing, waxing, or carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Assist with housekeeping management tasks such as inventory control and scheduling when applicable
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, polishing, and carpet extraction is advantageous
- Experience with hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina; capable of standing for extended periods, lifting light to moderate loads, and performing repetitive tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service in hospitality or custodial settings
