Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial HVAC Foreman to lead and execute commercial HVAC installation projects in the field. This is a hands-on working foreman role responsible for planning, coordinating, and completing installations alongside a crew.
The ideal candidate is a strong mechanical installer with proven leadership experience who can read plans, direct crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and perform commercial HVAC installations from start to finish
- Supervise and work alongside installation crews in the field
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
- Lay out work, sequence tasks, and coordinate manpower and materials on site
- Install and oversee systems including RTUs, VAVs, ductwork, exhaust fans, make-up air units, and associated controls components
- Ensure all work complies with job specifications, safety requirements, and local building codes
- Coordinate with project managers, other trades, inspectors, vendors, and general contractors as needed
- Track labor, materials, and progress and communicate jobsite needs or issues proactively
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Foreman or Lead Installer
- Strong background in commercial HVAC construction and installation
- Solid understanding of ductwork fabrication/installation, equipment set, rigging, and startup coordination
- Ability to confidently read and execute work from HVAC plans and schematics
- Prior experience leading crews in the field (not just task delegation - actual crew leadership)
- Knowledge of jobsite safety standards and OSHA requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites
- Ability to lift, climb, and work from ladders and lifts as required
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field management software
- Experience working on larger or multi-phase commercial projects
- Familiarity with coordination across multiple trades on active construction sites
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 50.0 per week
