Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Associate for our Third Shift team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude. We are hiring for multiple production roles to ensure efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our assembly line operations.
We are looking for packers, machine operators and compounders.
- 3rd shift - Sunday - Thursday; 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
Here are the responsibilities for the roles;
Packer/Operator:
- Pack, weigh, and label completed items for shipment or storage
- Inspect products for defects, damage, or missing components
- Verify order accuracy against packing slips or system instructions
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including power tools and hand tools, to fabricate and assemble products.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and adhere to safety protocols while working on the factory floor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow on the assembly line.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
- Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse and between production areas as needed.
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Compounder:
- Weigh and mix raw materials following precise formulas and batch sheets
- Operate blending, mixing, and other compounding equipment safely and efficiently
- Verify raw materials using barcodes or lot numbers and ensure correct inventory usage
- Maintain accurate batch records and logs in accordance with GMP or company standards
- Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas as per SOPs
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual productivity.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance throughout the production process.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed within the assembly line operations.
