Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and outgoing In-Store Sales & Marketing Representative to cover retail stores throughout the Bronx and Manhattan.
This position combines sales, marketing, merchandising, and customer relationship management. You will visit stores within your assigned territory, promote the products we represent, build relationships with store personnel, improve product visibility, and identify opportunities to increase sales.
The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with store managers, works well independently, and is motivated by commissions and performance incentives.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned retail stores throughout the Bronx and Manhattan
- Follow a scheduled route Monday through Friday
- Build strong relationships with store managers and employees
- Present products and sales opportunities to store decision-makers
- Secure new product placements and increase distribution
- Improve shelf position and create additional product displays
- Check inventory and help reduce out-of-stock items
- Organize merchandise and install promotional materials
- Communicate current promotions to store personnel
- Take photos and submit reports for completed store visits
- Report competitor activity, store feedback, and sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed sales and performance goals
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Sales, merchandising, retail, or customer service experience is preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable approaching store managers and asking for sales opportunities
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Goal-oriented and motivated by commissions and incentives
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to travel between multiple stores each day
- Smartphone capable of taking photos and completing reports
- Familiarity with the Bronx and Manhattan is preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
