American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital position requiring 1+ year of experience and a valid WA PT license.

Critical access rural hospital setting with 23 total staff beds
-
Inpatient acute care therapy unit
-
May float between units based on facility needs
-
May float to other facilities in Colville and Spokane based on need and therapist ability

Day shift schedule, 3x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Approximately 0.6 FTE (about 24 hours/week), Monday-Friday with some flexibility for Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday schedules

Workday hours vary based on hospital census

Patient ratio of 1:5-10

No weekend requirements

No block schedules required

Uses Epic for charting

Minimum 1 year of experience required

BLS certification required
-
Valid WA PT license required (license required if applicable)

Epic charting experience preferred

Experience with acute care work settings required

LTAC and SNF experience preferred

Skills in patient assessment including AROM/AAROM/PROM, strength testing, and vital sign monitoring

Experience with equipment such as gait belts, walkers, and sliding boards
-
Experience with orthopedic and neurologic patient populations preferred
-
Documentation skills including evaluation, plan of care, and short-term goals
-
Primary responsibilities include inpatient physical therapy treatment at a critical access hospital

May be asked to float to sister facilities based on facility need; refusal to float may impact assignment
-
Hospital census fluctuations may occasionally increase hours up to 0.75 FTE, though not to full-time 5x8 schedule
-
Any scrub color accepted for RN and Allied staff
-

RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission; post-submission RTO requests may not be accommodated

Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required prior to start

Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles

Returning Providence staff must wait at least 3 months before applying as a traveler

50-mile local radius applies; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
