Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator
Our private practice is expanding and we are searching for a dedicated and experienced Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator who is great with people, organized, and genuinely enjoys helping patients understand their treatment options.
Your role is very important because you will help patients schedule treatment, navigate and understand their options with insurance, financing/payment, while reviewing their diagnosed treatment plans and answering their questions in a professional and compassionate manner.
Acting as a concierge to treatment and case acceptance for our patients, success will look like someone who can excel in the following areas:
- Willing to learn, readily accepts feedback about performance in order to grow, and is coachable while also sharing own experience and ideas with the team
- Possesses accurate and current knowledge of dental terminology, insurance revenue cycle management, treatment presentation and case management skills
- Creative and considers solutions when met with challenges or unexpected roadblocks. Takes intelligent action to solve the issue in ways that make sense for the situation and help move the practice forward
- Upbeat mindset and approach to work and responsibilities that adds positively to the workplace culture and patient experience
- Is able to consistently perform all of the typical duties and functions of a dental patient care coordinator at a high performance level
- Operates in an organized and methodical manner
- Achieves practice and personal goals consistently and is always seeking to improve on performance metrics
- Demonstrates proven initiative through daily actions and task completions
- Communicates clearly, professionally, respectfully, and with confidence
- Shows clear follow through with completion of tasks and making sure that unresolved matters don’t stay in a pending status
- A team player that lends assistance where needed and appropriate
- Dependable and dedicated to growing within the company over the long term

Previous dental experience is necessary, particularly with treatment coordination, insurance, scheduling, and patient financing. Someone with excellent customer-service and sales experience who can keep the schedule productive and full.
