Position Overview
Provide unique and enriching glamping experiences for families through housekeeping and hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure all lodgings and public areas are kept clean and according to standards

Deliver excellent quality linen cleaning, folding, and inventory. Using industrial laundry machines.

Strip, reset, and set-up glamping tents according to housekeeping standards
-
Assist with guests, check in through reservation software and prepare lodging spaces for guests
-
Clean bathroom and shower facilities according to daily and weekly checklists
-
Maintain grounds around camp to standard (pulling weeds, cleaning, sweeping, etc.)
-
Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions

Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
-
Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership

Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications

Minimum age: 18+
-
Required: Valid U.S. driver's license
-
Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
-
Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
PhysicalPractical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
-
Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines

Housing: 10'x12' platform tent in Staff Camp | Uniform: Summit Staff Uniform | Work Hours: 45-55

Performance Expectations

Contribute at least one improvement to department operations

Receive 2 or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or guests

Glamping tents flipped and cleaned in under 30 minutes
