Activities Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you’ll help create a fun, engaging, and meaningful environment by assisting with daily activities, special events, outings, and one-on-one resident interactions.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and leading recreational and therapeutic activities
Encourage resident participation in group and individual programs
Help with holiday celebrations, community events, and outings
Transport residents to and from activities as needed
Maintain activity supplies and documentation
Promote a positive, resident-centered atmosphere
Qualifications:
Compassionate, outgoing, and reliable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
Must be able to work as part of a team
