Rich Properties is currently seeking a Maintenance Porter (Groundskeeper/Cleaner) for an apartment community in Jacksonville, FL. The Maintenance Porter performs janitorial and grounds keeping duties to ensure the general cleanliness and upkeep of the property and assists the Maintenance Supervisor with cleaning and painting of apartments to prepare for move in.
Job Description: To be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the property and all areas related to the day-to-day upkeep of the community. Essential duties & responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1) Cleaning of common areas including grounds, restrooms, offices, fitness center, gym, media room, etc.
2) Maintenance of grounds such as picking up trash, pet waste, emptying trash cans & pet stations, etc.
3) Pressure Washing of buildings, sidewalks, and other common areas.
4) Light repairs
5) Assist Maintenance Team with refurbishing of vacant apartments prior to occupancy.
6) Other responsibilities as determined and delegated by the Property Manager.

1) Minimum 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience. Training in some or all of these areas a plus: cleaning, painting, minor maintenance repairs, pressure washing, grounds keeping.
2) Preferred working hours are M-F, 8am to 4:30pm
