We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Female Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, person-centered care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will assist clients with activities of daily living and advocate for the client as needed. Skills
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of special education principles and behavioral health practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to perform caregiving tasks with compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Familiarity with home & community care environments and assisting with ADLs
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely for transportation needs
- Experience in data collection, behavior management techniques, and medication administration is highly desirable
