Position: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

Required Qualifications:
- At least one year of relevant experience
- AND/OR completed 2-year education from a vocational/tech school
- Must be able to perform all basic repairs to cars and light trucks
- Must have own tools
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a good attitude
Required Skills:
- Mechanic experience
- Driving
- Brakes
- Diagnostics
- Basic computer and internet literacy
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- ASE certification(s) are required within 12 months of hire date
- Read manufacturer's drawings and manuals
- Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
- Keep shop equipment operating (maintain, troubleshoot, repair, etc.)
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Use computer diagnostic equipment
- Perform maintenance and repair services on a variety of makes and models of vehicles, up to and including one-ton trucks
