The Academy of Music and Art is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Dance Teacher to join our faculty for Fall 2026.
This part-time position teaches both Monday and Wednesday afternoon/evening classes and works with students ranging from preschool through teens.

Our classes are designed to be engaging, encouraging, and fun, especially for beginning dancers.
Position Details
- Part-time
- Required Days: Monday and/or Wednesday
- Afternoon & Early Evening
- Pay: $30 per hour
- Location: Westmont, IL
Monday Classes
- Dance Start
- Broadway Mini Stars – Wicked Edition
- Kids Jazz/Ballet/Tap Combo
- Broadway Rising Stars – Beginner Musical Theatre
Wednesday Classes
- Mini Pop Stars – Disney Edition
- K-Pop Stars
- Pop Stars – Descendants/Zombies Edition
- Broadway Bound – Advanced Musical Theatre
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Loves teaching children
- Has experience teaching dance and/or musical theatre
- Can create a fun, positive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Is comfortable teaching preschool through teen students
- Is dependable, organized, and professional
- Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team
Experience teaching ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, preschool dance, or K-Pop is a plus.
