Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to water, fire, mold, and asbestos-related incidents to assess damage and determine appropriate restoration procedures
- Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment and power tools
- Conduct cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, surface sanitation, and debris removal to restore properties to pre-loss condition
- Assist with mold remediation and asbestos abatement processes following safety protocols and industry standards
- Use hand tools and construction techniques to repair or prepare structures for further restoration work
- Document all work performed accurately for insurance claims and project records
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and properly handling hazardous materials
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and general cleaning techniques is a plus
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other restoration equipment safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward safety protocols and quality standards
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred for travel between job sites
- Willingness to learn new skills in the restoration industry and grow within the company
