New grad Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: St. Clairsville, OH
Employment Type: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (2nd Shift)
Contract: Minimum 1-Year Assignment
Hourly Pay: $22.00- $24.00
We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Correctional Institution. This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN looking for a stable schedule in a correctional healthcare setting.
What We Offer:

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
- Monitor, assess, document, and report patient conditions and treatment responses.
- Take vital signs and assist with daily patient care activities.
- Perform wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, injections (IM/SubQ), oxygen administration, and other nursing procedures.
- Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and emergencies.
- Maintain medication records, inventory, and patient documentation.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and support patient care planning.
Requirements:
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a correctional healthcare environment.
- Must be able to clear a metal detector daily (all personal items must be removed before entry).
