JOB OVERVIEW
At Ulfbuilt, we're looking for a Project Engineer who is eager to build a career in construction management while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents on high-end custom homes throughout the Vail Valley.
This role serves as a key support position for our project teams, helping coordinate purchasing, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, client communication, and day-to-day project administration. The Project Engineer will gain exposure to every stage of the construction process while developing the skills and experience needed to grow into a future Project Manager role.

JOB DUTIES
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with project coordination, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and day-to-day project administration.
- Track material orders, deliveries, permits, inspections, and project documentation to help ensure projects stay organized and on schedule.
- Support project financial management by entering budget information, tracking costs, and assisting with billing and reporting.
- Communicate with clients, architects, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal team members to facilitate project progress and maintain strong relationships.
- Attend project meetings, document action items, and follow through on assigned tasks.
- Remain flexible and willing to support the team wherever needed, including administrative tasks, jobsite visits, client communication, and project logistics.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Business, Architecture, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Construction experience is beneficial but not required; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable, with strong proficiency in spreadsheets, Google Workspace, AI tools, and digital workflows. Able to quickly learn new software platforms and leverage technology to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine enjoyment of working with people and building relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn, grow, and build a long-term career within the construction industry.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
