Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that the bar operates smoothly. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the food service industry, particularly in nightlife settings such as nightclubs, restaurants, and banquets.
Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Help with food preparation and service during busy shifts to enhance customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with bartenders and other staff to ensure timely service.
- Support the setup and breakdown of bar areas for events or special occasions.
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing away empty glasses or plates as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in bartending, food service, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn about drink preparation and bar operations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
