CADV is seeking a Multi-role Victim Advocate to provide crisis intervention, support, and advocacy services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, stalking, and other crimes.
This position involves assisting clients with crisis response, safety planning, shelter services, court and systems advocacy, referrals, transportation assistance, documentation, and emotional support. Advocates must be able to remain calm and professional in crisis situations while maintaining strict confidentiality and working within a trauma-informed environment.
The position requires participation in a 24-hour crisis line rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicants must be reliable, flexible, and willing to respond to crisis situations as needed. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer knowledge, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a background check and drug test. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Experience in advocacy, or related fields is preferred, but training will be provided.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
