Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift (Direct Hire)
We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a production facility. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and long-term stability. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities and experience working in an industrial environment.
Pay: $30–$35 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift, 5am-2:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on forging and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including motors, controls, and wiring
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues such as hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
- Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience required
- Ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment efficiently and effectively
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
